The Tolleson Fund

“For He established a testimony in Jacob and appointed a law in Israel, which He commanded our fathers that they should teach them to their children,
that the generation to come might know, even the children yet to be born, that they may arise and tell them to their children,
that they should put their confidence in God and not forget the works of God…”
Psalm 78: 5-7

BUDDYThe late Raymond Wilson Tolleson was a dear friend and co-founder of the Titus Institute for Church Planting. “Buddy,” as he was known, invested years of raising funds and combined friendly access to those funds with his own generous efforts. His advice aided many churches in their efforts to plant or to expand their ministries at times when help was desperately needed.

Buddy passed away January 6, 2013, and he is greatly missed. His legacy lives on through his beloved wife, Alice, his children and grandchildren, the Christian businesses he supported, and the ministries and churches to which he dedicated his life.

It was Buddy’s wish that memorial donations be made to the Titus Institute for Church Planting, and it is with great joy that the Titus Board of Directors established the R.W. Tolleson Fund to support church plants, reorganizations, expansions and change of locations for existing congregations.

When making Memorial Gifts to the Tolleson Fund in honor of Buddy, look for “Add special instructions to the seller,” before you finalize the payment. Then simply add “Memorial Gift to the Tolleson Fund in honor of Buddy Tolleson.”
